Greece: Athens-Syros-Mykonos


Sailing from the City of Athens to the famous Greek gay Island of Mykonos!
Week 1: Athens-Mykonos

Day 1: Boarding after 5.30 pm in Athens at the marina, we will show you around the yacht and explain some nautical stuff, the guests will get comfortable in there cabins and we all have diner at the beach or in the old part of Athens: Plaka. If you like you can join us after dinner to the local gay bars and clubs.

Day 2: After a relaxed first day of sailing we drop anchor at the feet of the Temple of Sounion. At sunset the view from the temple on the cliff is spectacular. Dinner near the beach in a local taverna.

Day 3: After breakfast we set sail to the island Kithnos. On the East side there is bay there is an ancient Greek/Roman mineral springs, great to relax and have a drink while getting 10 year younger due to the minerals. Dinner on the beach in a local restaurant.

Day 4: Siros is one of the bigger islands in the Cyclades and also the most fertile. The landscape includes meadows running down to vast white beaches, cliffs that sink suddenly into the sea, rocky mountains nestled side-by-side with valleys filled with meandering streams and springs. Vineyards and olive trees wind down the mountains to the crystal clear sea and its superb white sandy beaches, much frequented by nudist.

Day 5: Today we sail to the capital of Siros: Ermoupolis. The town has the typical whitewashed houses and beautiful churches on a hill. Siros is famous for its marble they carve out of the mountains here, and you will find it on most of the streets and squares.

Day 6: To Rinia Island, with a great beach for the famous GaySail Beach BBQ including the GaySail Beach BBQ Punch.

Day 7: Mykonos. Time to sail back to Mykonos. Mooring in the marina. It's a nice way to end this week: having dinner at Nikos, the oldest restaurant of Mykonos and over a cocktail, watching the drag queen shows next to the pool in Elysium while the sun is going down. Party (if you like) in town at Jackie O.

Day 8/ Day 1 next week:
Disembark in the morning for the guys who joined us just for one week and after cleaning the yacht we are ready to receive the new guys. For the guys who stay two weeks: Day off in Mykonos! Diner in Mykonos Town.

Travel Information

You can travel to the airport of Athens. There is a direct bus service from the airport to the marina. From Mykonos you can take a fast ferry back to Athens, fly back home or stay on board for another week of beautiful harbors and bays and you will return to Athens..
